STEIN ROGAN WINS APTA ADWHEEL AWARDS FOR FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR
NEW YORK, October 16, 2009 – The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) announced that
Stein Rogan + Partners has won two First Place Awards in its Annual AdWheel Award competition in the
Print Advertising category for its TransitCenter/TransitChek “Exercise The Right!” campaign, and in the
Internet Homepage category for the ExerciseTheRight.com microsite (http://exercisetheright.com).
This marks the fourth consecutive year Stein Rogan and TransitCenter have been honored, including
the APTA Grand Prize in 2006.
The AdWheel Awards recognize public transportation systems and APTA business members for
excellence in advertising, communications, marketing, and promotion.
Nearly 500 entries were submitted to the prestigious awards this year in the four categories of print,
electronic, campaign, and special event. The awards were presented October 5 in San Diego as part of
APTA’s Annual Meeting and International EXPO.
“Once again, we are proud and honored to be recognized by APTA,” says Tom Stein, President and Chief
Creative Officer of Stein Rogan. “In a year when economic pressures are affecting commuters more than
ever, we are even prouder that our award-winning ‘Exercise the Right!’ campaign and our partnership
with TransitChek have produced extraordinary results.”
