STEIN ROGAN + PARTNERS WINS BEACON AWARD FOR SCHOOLNET WEB SITE
NEW YORK, NY – June 27, 2006 – Stein Rogan + Partners announced today that it has won the Association of Educational Publishers’ 2006 Beacon Award for the SchoolNet Web site (www.schoolnet.com). Named 2005 Agency of the Year by BtoB Magazine, Stein Rogan is the agency of record for SchoolNet, the leading provider of Web-based Instructional Management Solutions for K-12
school districts.
The SchoolNet Web site, which was entered in the Web Sites/Marketing category, competed against numerous other entries to win the award. Stein Rogan’s work for SchoolNet also was recently recognized by the Business Marketing Association. The SchoolNet “Data Kids” campaign received an
ACE Award in the BMA’s Integrated Marketing Program category.
The Beacon Awards recognize excellence in education marketing. Formerly referred to as the Distinguished Marketer Awards, the Beacon Awards highlight the outstanding contributions of publishing companies’ sales and marketing staffs and advertising agencies.
The award was presented at a special luncheon held during the AEP’s Educational Publishing Summit on June 9 in Washington, D.C. Stein Rogan was also a finalist in the Brochure category for its Achieve3000 Sales Kit. Acheive3000 provides Web-based, differentiated language arts instruction solutions for K-12 students.
