Tom Stein: President & CEO
Tom Stein is president and a founding partner of Stein Rogan + Partners. Over the past 20 years, Tom has established Stein Rogan as one of the most strategic, creative, innovative agencies serving leading technology, financial services, e-business and business services, telecommunications, education, media/content, travel and related brands. In doing so, he has built the Agency into a multi-faceted practitioner of synchronized marketing communications.

Tom started his career as a copywriter and is closely involved with Stein Rogan’s creative product. Tom also works with all major accounts in the areas of strategic development, brand vision and Agency deliverables.

In 2001, 2005, 2006, and 2007 Tom was honored as one of the 10 “Who’s Who in B2B Advertising” by BtoB Magazine.

In 2001 and 2003, Stein Rogan was honored as one of the “Agencies of the Year” by the same publication. The 2003 acknowledgement was based in part on the Agency’s ground-breaking work for the Interactive Advertising Bureau in developing the first-ever USP/marketing campaign for the interactive media category, as well as for its innovative work for Symbol Technologies.

In 2005, Stein Rogan achieved one of the highest acknowledgements of excellence in technology and B2B marketing — BtoB’s 2005 Agency of the Year designation.

In 2006, Stein Rogan’s work under Tom’s leadership was selected among the top four Business to Business Integrated Marketing Success Stories.

In 2007, Stein Rogan again was acknowledged as one of BtoB’s “Top Agencies of the Year.”

Tom’s two most significant achievements, however, are his starring role as bass player for Stein Rogan’s rock band, Cheaper Than Bowling, winner of two ad agency Battle of the Bands; and his ability to help his Agency grow in the most turbulent times in ad agency history while also raising his six-year-old twins.

Marianne Moore: Partner, Chief Strategic Officer
At Stein Rogan + Partners, Marianne has been instrumental in managing the growth of many of the Agency’s brands. Marianne has global responsibility for Client services, brand strategy, as well as account planning.

Marianne is currently spearheading strategic planning for TransitCenter, a nonprofit corporation specializing in tax-free commuter benefits. In addition, Marianne led the launch of Cosmeo, a new online learning resource from The Discovery Channel, as well as brand strategy development for Mimeo.com, the leader in online, on-demand document printing.

Marianne was instrumental in the re-positioning of Symbol Technologies as well as the re-positioning and re-branding of BPA Worldwide, the world’s leading integrated media auditing firm.

Marianne is a 20-plus year veteran of the business and has been with Stein Rogan for nearly 12 years. She began her career at DDB/Needham, rising to vice president/management supervisor. During her tenure there, Marianne managed such blue-chip accounts as IBM, Porsche-Audi, Weight Watchers, Bristol Myers and Ortho Pharmaceuticals as well as First Nation’s Bank.

While at DDB/Needham she lead the development of a local market traffic/new accounts building program for First Nation’s Bank. This program resulted in the highest level of new account sign-ups in the bank’s history. What was noteworthy about this effort was the extensive use of guerrilla and promotional tactics (mobile billboards, sweepstakes).

From DDB/Needham, Marianne moved to Saatchi & Saatchi where she was a senior vice president. While at Saatchi, Marianne managed the $45 million Schering-Plough business and launched Coppertone Kids, one of Schering-Plough’s most successful new products ever. She also led the March of Dimes Public Service account.

During her tenure at Cossette Post, Marianne worked on Phoenix Wealth Management and TD Waterhouse. There she uncovered the fact that high net wealth individuals had become a multi-segmented population with diverse demographics, psychographics and needs. This led to the development of the acclaimed “Money. It’s not what it used to be.” campaign.
