Marianne Moore: Partner, Chief Strategic Officer

Marianne Moore, named for the world-renowned poet, is a seasoned marketing professional with over 25 years of marketing, branding and research experience.

Marianne has particular expertise in both business-to-business and consumer marketing. She has helped many flagship brands activate their brands and businesses including McGraw-Hill, IBM, Symbol Technologies, Discovery Communications, ABN AMRO and Standard & Poor’s among others.

Throughout her career, Marianne has been credited with developing and leveraging market validated insights to take businesses to the next level. Having spent many years at DDB/Needham and Saatchi & Saatchi, Marianne gained broad, deep experience in all forms of traditional market research and in using data to drive key decisions.

At Stein Rogan + Partners, Marianne has taken her extensive experience to a higher level by creating an account/strategic planning process that combines both traditional forms of business due diligence and research with innovative forms of market research (i.e.: social media research, immersion research, ethnographic research).

Most recently, Marianne has been spearheading the re-branding of the McGraw-Hill Higher Education division as well as developing an optimum product roadmap and customer segmentation for the PRIMIS product. In addition, she led the Agency effort to re-brand and re-name McGraw-Hill’s Homework Management brand/product portfolio.

She is currently working with Standard & Poor’s to optimize the branding of the product portfolio within the investment services group – an initiative of major strategic importance to McGraw-Hill overall.
